UX/UI Design
I turn messy, multi-step workflows into clear interfaces, designing every flow, state and detail around how people actually work.
I've spent the last 7 years designing AI tools, marketplaces and internal platforms, usually starting from a rough idea and staying until the developers ship it. I work from Mexico with startups in the US and Latin America.
I partner with startups that care about quality, bringing senior product, brand and web design to every stage, from the first MVP to the next funding round.

Focused pages that explain your product in seconds and turn visitors into sign-ups, built around one clear message and one clear action.
Logos, color, type and the small details that make a brand recognizable, packaged in a system your team can use everywhere.
Complete sites from structure to launch: navigation, every page and responsive layouts that look sharp on any screen.
A few products I've designed end to end, from the first sketch to launch.

AI is part of how I design: it helps me research faster, explore more directions and prototype real interactions early. The judgement, the taste and the final call stay human.
Quick answers before we talk. Anything else, just write me.
I'm Alejandra Mendez (Ale), a product owner and UX/UI design lead based in Mexico with 7+ years of experience. I've led design teams across time zones at companies like AskTuring AI and Geekbears, and helped 25+ clients worldwide turn complex requirements into products people actually adopt.
Mostly B2B SaaS and AI products, plus e-commerce and marketplaces, automotive, HR tech and internal tools. What they have in common: dense workflows and lots of data that need to feel simple for the people using them every day.
It starts with a free call to understand your product, your users and your goals. Then I send a proposal with scope, timeline and price. We work in short cycles with weekly check-ins, so you see progress in Figma and give feedback as we go. At the end you get production-ready designs and a clean handoff to your developers, and I'm still around after launch.
